At the same time, to review 10 years of implementing Directive 52/CT-TW dated January 9, 2016 of the Central Party Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership in improving the spiritual life of workers in industrial parks and export processing zones. President of An Giang Provincial Labor Federation Chau Van Ly; representatives of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, enterprises of the 2 industrial zones and exemplary collectives and workers honored at the Conference attended the event.

Chairing the Conference, President of the Provincial Industrial Zones Labor Union Tran Luu Phong said that, following President Ho Chi Minh's call for patriotic emulation, the labor union has flexibly applied it in each stage. The staff and union members in the industrial zones in the province have constantly strived to practice emulation with many practical models and methods to improve techniques and working conditions, bringing positive results to businesses.

Over the past 5 years, the union has coordinated with the company's Board of Directors to effectively implement and register over 1,229 technical improvement solutions and initiatives from workers. Of these, over 200 solutions and initiatives were recognized by the company's director, saving the company billions of VND, contributing to the completion of the unit's and company's planned targets. All of the above initiatives and solutions have a value of more than 100 million VND/year.

Emulation movements are suitable to the conditions and characteristics of each unit and enterprise, such as: Emulation campaigns: “Excellent and Creative Labor”, “Green - Clean - Beautiful”, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene, fire prevention, “Skilled in Public Work, Competent in Household Management”, as well as cultural and sports activities…. Through these initiatives, collectives and individuals are encouraged to develop intellectual capacity, creativity, and professional expertise, improving skills, responsibility, and industrial work style, thereby enhancing business stability and production efficiency.

One of the driving forces at the grassroots level to promote the movement more strongly is thanks to the enterprise's grassroots labor union coordinating with the enterprise's Board of Directors to promptly reward and encourage workers to constantly be creative, promote their intelligence to carry out practical and effective initiatives in the process of organizing activities and implementing work tasks, improving labor productivity through their initiatives. The grassroots labor union also mobilizes enterprise leaders to participate and accompany the program with resources, technical support, time and implement policies and regulations to support reward funding to promptly encourage the positivity and effective efforts of union members and workers. 

In 5 years, 4 collectives and 12 individuals were awarded by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Labor Federation. At the Conference, the Industrial Parks Trade Union commended 2 collectives and 61 outstanding individuals representing 12 grassroots labor unions with 18,185 union members/19,301 workers.

Speaking at the conference, President of An Giang Provincial Labor Federation Chau Van Ly reminded businesses to pay attention to and care for their employees, considering them as their assets; workers strive to work productively, considering the business as their home. In particular, creative labor is the driving force contributing to making the common "home" of businesses and employees better and better. In particular, businesses are responsible in the field of labor, ensuring safety and a favorable working environment for employees to stay long-term and make worthy contributions./.
