An Giang province has implemented policies for individuals with meritorious services, poverty reduction, and national target programs in a synchronized and effective manner in recent years. Additionally, the emulation movement "For the poor - leaving no one behind" has garnered the attention of the Party Committee, the government, the business community, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, religious dignitaries, and the general public, resulting in significant accomplishments that have contributed to the enhancement of the material and spiritual well-being of the populace, as well as the guarantee of social security.

Nevertheless, the lives of a number of impoverished and near-poverty households remain challenging. Up to now, the whole province still has more than 24,000 poor and near-poor households and more than 3,720 households living in temporary and dilapidated houses that need to be repaired and rebuilt in 2025; over 24,395 poor and nearly impoverished households desire to receive gifts in order to celebrate the traditional New Year of the nation and enjoy the spring season. The entire political system, the business community, religious dignitaries, and the entire society must unite, contribute, and participate, while also drawing the attention of party committees and authorities at all levels. This will ensure that the people can soon have stable and safe homes and the necessary conditions to celebrate the traditional New Year of the nation.

Mr. Ho Van Mung, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee, has appealed to all levels, sectors, armed forces, each cadre, party member, civil servant, public employee, organizations, religions, businessmen, and all residents of the province to promote and spread the tradition of mutual support and solidarity, "Mutual love and affection" of the Vietnamese people, through practical actions, in order to mobilize the Fund "For the Poor" in 2024 and "Spring Tree" for Lunar New Year 2025 in the province.

The primary objective of party committees and authorities at all levels is to successfully implement the established objectives by leading and directing the mobilization of resources from the state, society, businesses, and the entire population. Continue to meticulously evaluate the entire province in accordance with the "three no's" requirement: no subjects that are incorrect, no subjects that are missing, and no complaints or petitions during or after the program implementation process.

Agencies, organizations, religions, businesses, benefactors, and all individuals in the province, as well as An Giang people who reside far from their homeland, should unite and return to their homeland to provide assistance to approximately 4,346 households that are currently residing in temporary housing or dilapidated structures that require repair and reconstruction in 2025. Furthermore, we must provide assistance and attention to ensure that all challenging circumstances are addressed, thereby enabling individuals to celebrate a Tet that is both warm and loving, and replete with the essence of humanity, in accordance with the principle of "The entire nation unites to assist the impoverished, leaving no one behind."
