Specifically, leaders of An Giang and Kien Giang provinces, together with representatives of relevant units, departments, and localities, worked and conducted field surveys of the most convenient traffic routes for connection and travel between Long Xuyen city (An Giang province) and Rach Gia city (Kien Giang province). These are important routes to facilitate connection, ensure traffic, reduce travel time between the two localities, create inter-regional connection axes, support travel, help people and businesses shorten travel time, reduce transportation costs, meet trade needs and improve freight transport capacity, create new development momentum and space, contribute to promoting socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security.

Through the actual inspection, the leaders of An Giang and Kien Giang provinces agreed to request the Department of Construction to coordinate with relevant units, departments, and localities to continue to complete the report, advise on the most optimal plan, best connection, reduce the volume of site clearance, minimize the impact on residential areas, maximize the development of land funds on both sides of the road, the closest distance, and the most economical to submit to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for consideration and decision./.
