An Giang promotes digital transformation in education and training

(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On November 12, the An Giang Department of Education and Training, in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, organized a conference on digital transformation in education and training in An Giang province.

At the conference, the An Giang Department of Education and Training and Ho Chi Minh City University of Education signed a cooperation agreement on digital transformation, training, professional development, and support for the period 2026-2030.

The goal of digital transformation is to ensure synchronization, connectivity, and data sharing, facilitating timely and smooth data reporting both horizontally (district, ward level) and vertically (by sector), and progressing towards integration with the national database.

The two parties will collaborate on training and upgrading IT teachers to meet standards and enhance digital skills.
A survey on digital skills of 24,508 teachers in An Giang province shows that teachers have a good foundation in basic IT skills. However, there are still limitations in advanced digital transformation capabilities, especially in organizing online teaching, assessment using digital tools, and awareness of data security and safety.

The province has organized AI training for over 40,000 teachers, providing them with an initial understanding of AI and introducing them to various technologies...
