(An Giang E-Portal)-On September 15, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment coordinated with the People's Committee of An Giang province to organize a Conference to summarize the pilot model of high-quality, low-emission specialized rice production in the 2025 summer-autumn crop in the Mekong Delta. (AG Provincial E-Portal) - According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang, by the end of August, the total rice cultivation area in 2025 of the province was nearly 1.3 million hectares, reaching 95.5% of the plan, including: Winter-Spring, Summer-Autumn and Autumn-Winter rice. Of which, the harvested rice area was 961,154 hectares, with an output of nearly 6.5 million tons, reaching 73.7% of the yearly plan.
