(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the morning of October 11, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor held a seminar to evaluate the results of 15 years on implementing Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee (tenure X) on "Continuing to build Vietnamese working class in the period of promoting industrialization and modernization of the country" and 3 years of implementing Resolution 02-NQ/TW of the Politburo (tenure XIII) on "Innovating organization and activities of Vietnamese Labor unions in the new situation".
Deputy Head of An Giang Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Huu Ngoc, leaders of associations, unions, departments, branches and sectors of the province; leaders of the District Party Committee, People's Committee, leaders of the Labor Federations of districts, towns and cities, industry labor unions, provincial civil servant labor unions, provincial industrial park labor unions and emulation blocs also attended.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Nhat Tien presented a summary report on the results of 15 years on implementing Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee (tenure X) on "Continuing to build Vietnamese working class in the period of promoting industrialization and modernization of the country" and 3 years on implementing Resolution 02-NQ/TW of the Politburo (tenure XIII) on "Innovating organization and activities of Vietnam's labor unions in the new situation" deployed in An Giang province.
The delegates focused on four key issues on the common goals and significance of Resolution 20-NQ/TW and Resolution 02-NQ/TW, in which they assessed the achievements, shortcomings, limitations, lessons learned, solutions and directions for the coming time. At the same time, they assessed the contributions of the working class to the cause of industrialization and modernization; the shortcomings and limitations in building the working class and innovating trade union activities. In particular, on the role of the Party Committee in leading, directing and implementing Resolution 20/NQ-TW and Resolution 02/NQ-TW, promoting the core role of labor union organizations in participating in building a clean and strong Party, State and political system.
Representatives of the direct superior labor union, the labor union of the affiliated enterprise, and the labor union of the enterprise shared their experiences and creative ways of doing things over 15 years of implementing Resolution 20/NQ-TW, 3 years of implementing Resolution 02/NQ-TW in building the working class and building the labor union organization. Among them, there are many new models and ideas in the enterprise, with the work of caring for the material and spiritual life of workers, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
Deputy Head of An Giang Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Huu Ngoc commended and congratulated the achievements in the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and labor union activities of the province in recent years. At the same time, he commended the contributions of labor union officials and members through the periods.
In the coming time, to continue effectively implementing Resolution 20/NQ-TW and Resolution 02/NQ-TW, Deputy Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Ngoc suggested that labor unions at all levels continue to research and develop programs and plans to concretize the action program into annual and term targets for implementation.
Strengthening propaganda and education on tradition and national spirit for workers, civil servants and laborers, building a working class with steadfast character; continuing to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.
In addition, effectively implementing the Resolution of the Labor Union Congresses at all levels, the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Labor Union Congress and the Resolution of the 13th Congress of Vietnam Labor Union, term 2023-2028. Labor unions at all levels need to pay attention to and grasp the situation, thoughts and aspirations of workers, civil servants and laborers to promptly resolve pressing issues, limit to the occurrence of labor disputes and collective work stoppages.
