Speaking at the Conference, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung requested that heads of departments and local authorities focus on seriously and fully implementing the policies and directions of the Prime Minister and the Provincial Party Standing Committee on administrative reform.

The Department of Home Affairs should urgently advise the Provincial People's Committee to concretize the instructions into specific tasks; coordinate with departments, branches, and local authorities to develop specific and detailed plans, clearly assigning responsibilities in implementing and improving administrative reform indexes, such as: Provincial administrative reform (PAR Index), provincial competitiveness (PCI), Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI), Satisfaction index with public administrative services (SIPAS), and department and district competitiveness index (DCCI). In addition, it is necessary to promptly find solutions to overcome the shortcomings and limitations in the past due to the agencies and localities under their management; Regularly monitor and promptly advise the Provincial People's Committee to direct the effective implementation of administrative reform work associated with the assessment, promotion, and appointment of officials; promptly commend and promote the replication of good and effective models and practices.

The Department of Justice should advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue legal documents to implement laws, decrees and circulars in a timely and effective manner. At the same time, departments and localities should review legal documents in their management areas for timely adjustment; pay attention to building a team of specialized and stable legal departments.

The Provincial People's Committee Office should conduct research and organize learning from experiences in places that have performed well; have solutions to ensure that records are processed in the right order; continue to maintain and improve the index set for serving people and businesses; Strictly implement the streamlining and rearrangement of the apparatus organization according to the Central's direction; focuse on training and fostering professional skills for officials and civil servants.

The Department of Science and Technology should advise on the development of e-government and digital government, focusing on key areas such as education, healthcare, administration and serving the people. The Department of Finance should urgently advise the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council a Resolution on exemption of fees and charges for online public services.

Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, towns and cities should urgently review the facilities and operations of the Reception and Result Delivery Offices of communes, wards and towns to find solutions to improve the quality of service to the people.
