Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Huynh Ngoc Ho said that the launching ceremony and sports festival in response to Vietnam Consumer Rights Day 2025 with the theme "Transparent Information - Responsible Consumption" aims to emphasize the meaning and importance of information for consumers when choosing, paying for, using goods and services, especially in the context of many fraudulent acts and violations of consumer rights.

This is the second year that the Department of Industry and Trade has organized a sports event to respond to Vietnam Consumer Rights Day. This year's sports event attracted more than 400 athletes from agencies, units, businesses and schools in the province to compete in two sports: Cross-country running and tug-of-war.

The launching ceremony and sports festival are not only propaganda activities but also opportunities for businesses to demonstrate their commitment to protecting consumers through quality products, transparent information, ensuring safe and fair shopping rights. This is an opportunity to promote sportsmanship, improve health, and create connections between organizations, businesses and consumers. At the same time, this is also the opening event for a series of exciting activities in response to Vietnam Consumer Rights Day 2025 in An Giang province./.
