(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the morning of March 12, the Management Board of President Ton Duc Thang Memorial Site coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City War Remnants Museum to organize the opening ceremony of the thematic photo exhibition “The Imprint of President Ton Duc Thang in the Great Spring Victory of 1975.”






This is an activity towards the 45th anniversary of the death of President Ton Duc Thang (February 14, 1980 - February 14, 2025 lunar calendar); the 50th anniversary of the South liberation and National reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
The exhibition starts from today until May 31, 2025, at President Ton Duc Thang Memorial Area (My Hoa Hung Commune, Long Xuyen City), with nearly 100 documentary photos introducing an overview of the arduous, long-term and heroic struggle of the Vietnamese people on the military, political and diplomatic fronts, about the history of the nation's struggle for independence along with the contributions of beloved Uncle Ton in the revolutionary cause of national liberation and unification...
Thematic photo exhibition: "The Imprint of President Ton Duc Thang in the great victory of Spring 1975" aims to commemorate, express deep gratitude, continue to study, cultivate, and practice following the example of beloved Uncle Ton, a staunch communist, an exemplary leader who spent his whole life serving the Fatherland and the People. In addition, the display of this photo exhibition conveys to future generations the awareness of the talented leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh and beloved Uncle Ton; that is the wisdom of Vietnam's revolutionary diplomacy, on the basis of the justice of the struggle for national liberation; that is the resilient struggle for the fundamental rights of the Vietnamese people; that is also the crystallization of the history of thousands of years building and defending the country, writing Vietnam forever as a brilliant golden page of history, leaving invaluable lessons for today's and future generations./.
