Attending the meeting were Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang Province Ho Van Mung; Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong; Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang Province Le Thanh Viet.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang Province Ho Van Mung expressed gratitude and congratulations to all businesses and entrepreneurs for their efforts and contributions to the socio-economic development of An Giang during the 2020–2025 period.

He also highly appreciated the spirit, responsibility, and active participation of businesses and entrepreneurs who have accompanied An Giang in charitable activities, supporting people in the province and across the country through difficult times such as natural disasters, floods, and especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, achieving many positive results.

Chairman Ho Van Mung affirmed that in the upcoming period, An Giang Province will continue to consider the private sector as the most important driving force for economic development. The province and businesses, entrepreneurs must accompany, share, and support each other for mutual growth.

To achieve this goal, the province will continue to promote administrative reform, reduce procedures, and create a favorable, safe, and equitable investment and business environment for enterprise development; focus on resolving difficulties and obstacles for businesses, unlocking resources for their contributions.

In addition, together with businesses and entrepreneurs, the province will foster the tradition of solidarity, building a strong and sustainable An Giang; strictly enforce legal regulations to ensure a fair, competitive, and favorable business environment. Enterprises and entrepreneurs must grow while maintaining ethics and social responsibility, aiming for the common goal of socio-economic development of the province, the growth of each business and entrepreneur, and improving the quality of life for the people.

Chairman Ho Van Mung also called on businesses to take initiative and accompany the province in setting high growth targets in production and business activities to help achieve the overall growth goal of 11.53% in 2026. On this occasion, Chairman Ho Van Mung awarded certificates of merit to 64 collectives and 58 individuals for their achievements in production and business activities, and to 7 individuals for their achievements in labor and business within enterprises, contributing to the socio-economic development of An Giang Province in 2025.
