(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the afternoon of June 11, the An Giang Provincial People’s Committee convened a special meeting to present proposals to the Committee’s members for approval on matters under its jurisdiction, and for submission to the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee. Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Ho Van Mung, presided over the meeting. Also in attendance were Vice Chairmen Le Van Phuoc and Ngo Cong Thuc, along with leaders of provincial departments and local authorities.
At the meeting, departments and localities presented a series of draft documents, including: A proposal from the Provincial People’s Committee and a draft resolution of the Provincial People’s Council stipulating expenditure levels for reception, visits, and congratulatory activities for specific groups carried out by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at various levels within An Giang Province; A proposal to issue a resolution amending and supplementing certain provisions of the regulation on revenue source and expenditure task decentralization for the 2022–2025 budget stabilization period, which was previously issued with Resolution No. 15/2021/NQ-HDND; A proposal for a resolution adjusting the 2025 state budget revenue and expenditure estimates and the provincial local budget allocation plan; A resolution of the Provincial People’s Council regulating the costs of disbursing social assistance benefits to social protection beneficiaries through service providers in An Giang; A resolution on the exemption of service fees for online public administrative procedures across the province; A resolution adjusting and supplementing the detailed allocation of the 2021–2025 medium-term public investment plan funded by the local budget; A resolution defining the authority to approve procurement of assets and equipment, as well as the delegation of authority to approve tasks and funding for renovation, upgrading, expansion, and new construction of work items under projects already invested in by agencies and units using regular state budget expenditures within the provincial management scope.
The submission for extending the capital allocation period until the end of 2025 for projects using local budget funds; adjustment of the 2021–2030 land use planning for Long Xuyen City, An Giang Province; issuance of the Decision to terminate the project “Aquaculture Area Combined with Fruit Tree Cultivation” in Luong An Tra Commune (Tri Ton District, An Giang Province) by investor Tran Thanh Vien; issuance of the Decision to terminate the project “Ha Gia Ecological Rest Stop” in Vinh Khanh Hamlet (Vinh Te Commune, Chau Doc City, An Giang Province); issuance of the Decision to terminate the project “Duong Khang My Luong Ecotourism Area” in My Luong Town (Cho Moi District); seeking opinions from members of the Provincial People’s Committee regarding requests for civil servant rank promotion due to outstanding performance in public service and requests for rank promotion upon appointment to leadership and management positions.
After reviewing, the members of the Provincial People’s Committee, departments, and localities contributed opinions and unanimously approved the contents of the draft documents. In his concluding remarks on each matter, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Ho Van Mung, requested the assigned departments and localities to take full responsibility for drafting the documents, to thoroughly incorporate all feedback provided at the meeting, and to urgently revise, supplement, and finalize the drafts for further submission to the Provincial People’s Committee for consideration and promulgation in accordance with regulations. This effort will contribute to the effective governance and socio-economic development of the province in the coming period.
