The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has directed the heads of provincial departments and agencies; the chairmen of the People's Committees of communes, wards, special zones, and relevant agencies and units, according to their assigned functions and tasks, to proactively and effectively implement the following: Monitoring and updating the supply and demand situation and market prices in the province; promptly advising on measures to manage, operate, and stabilize prices, especially before, during, and after Tet (Lunar New Year), to prevent unusual fluctuations that affect socio-economic life and people's lives, especially in areas affected by rain and floods; and strengthening the prevention and control of smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods.

In this regard, the Provincial People's Committee requests the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, according to its assigned functions and duties, to coordinate the dissemination of information and mobilization of members and the people to implement the State's policies on price management, administration, and stabilization in the province; to monitor the implementation of legal regulations on prices, and to promptly report the opinions and recommendations of the people to the competent authorities. It also requests the effective implementation of the "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" campaign.

At the same time, the Department of Finance is tasked with coordinating with provincial departments, agencies, and the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones to advise the Provincial People's Committee on strengthening management, operation, and price stabilization in the province. This includes closely monitoring the supply and demand situation and market prices in the province before, during, and after Tet (Lunar New Year), especially for essential goods and services directly serving the needs of the people, such as food, fresh produce, tourism services, passenger transportation services, and other essential goods related to production. This is to promptly advise the Provincial People's Committee on price stabilization measures in accordance with the law, develop plans to regulate and support the circulation of goods appropriately, and propose timely release of national reserve goods as prescribed. 

The Department of Finance will also coordinate with relevant departments, agencies, and units to promote the implementation of price listing and price declaration within its authority; Inspect the implementation of legal regulations on prices, taxes, fees, and charges in the area; strictly handle violations according to regulations; coordinate with functional units to strictly, thoroughly, and effectively combat smuggling, counterfeit goods, and commercial fraud; combat tax evasion and fraud, reduce tax arrears; focus on managing state budget expenditures to ensure strictness, efficiency, economy, and adherence to regulations; coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade and relevant units, based on the actual conditions and situation in the locality, to promptly advise the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of appropriate market stabilization programs in the area.

For central agencies under the Ministry of Finance located in An Giang province, such as the Head of the Customs Sub-Department of Region XX, the Head of the Provincial Tax Department, the Director of the State Treasury of Region XX, and the Head of the Provincial Statistics Department, the Provincial People's Committee requests that, according to their assigned functions and duties, they coordinate with the Department of Finance and other relevant departments and agencies to organize and implement price management, operation, and stabilization in the province in accordance with Directive No. 03/CT-BTC dated December 31, 2025, of the Ministry of Finance, specifically: coordinating the provision of information and data on supply and demand, and market price indices in the province to serve price management, operation, and stabilization; customs management, prevention and control of smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods, contributing to market stability in the province; coordination in managing tax collection and refunds, combating tax evasion and fraud; and performing tasks serving price management and operation in the province as prescribed by law.
