(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the afternoon of December 30th, Mr. Ho Van Mung, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited and worked with the Provincial Department of Finance, the Provincial Tax Department, and the State Treasury of Region XX to assess the implementation of financial and budgetary tasks, state budget revenue and expenditure; closing of accounts; and implementation of coordination regulations. Also in attendance was Mr. Le Trung Ho, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the meeting, leaders of the units reported on the results of implementing state budget revenue and expenditure tasks in 2025, the closing of accounts, and the implementation of coordination regulations. In 2025, budget management and operation achieved good results, becoming more systematic and ensuring the direction and management of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee, contributing to the successful achievement of the province's socio-economic development goals. Specifically, financial and budgetary work was managed proactively, flexibly, promptly, rationally, and with a focus on key areas, supporting businesses and people in overcoming difficulties, promoting economic growth, and ensuring social security and people's livelihoods. State budget revenue in 2025 reached 101.3%, exceeding the target set by the Provincial People's Council by VND 327 billion, contributing to ensuring the resources for implementing expenditure tasks according to the budget.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the units in maintaining financial discipline and order, contributing to budget stability and serving the socio-economic development of the province. He also emphasized that, according to the plan for 2026, the total state budget revenue in the province is expected to reach over VND 32,000 billion. To achieve this goal, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Finance to preside over in coordinating with the Provincial Tax Department and the State Treasury of Region XX to calculate specific solutions and propose revenue and expenditure plans to ensure the set target in accordance with the "6 clear principles," and submit them to the Provincial People's Committee before January 15, 2026. At the same time, he urged continued improvement in the quality of the province's advisory services, strengthening coordination, promoting administrative reform, digital transformation, strict management of revenue sources, and efficient use of the budget; and removing difficulties to create a favorable environment for people and businesses related to tax policies...

Regarding the management of state budget revenue and expenditure in 2026, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung requested the Departments of Finance, Taxation, and Treasury to continue closely monitoring the growth scenario and budget estimates, strictly managing budget revenue and expenditure sources, combating revenue losses, transfer pricing, and tax evasion, and expanding a sustainable revenue base. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that budget expenditure management must be in accordance with regulations, efficiently, and timely, especially regarding policies and regulations; with particular priority given to development investment, social welfare, and key tasks of the province. The finance sector should continue to strengthen financial discipline and order, and promote digital transformation in budget revenue and expenditure management in 2026 to achieve the set targets.
