(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the morning of September 05, Thoai Ngoc Hau High School for the Gifted, Long Xuyen Ward, held the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year, with the participation of 1,276 students, including 424 students of grade 10.

Principal of Thoai Ngoc Hau High School for the Gifted, Dang Thi Kim Phuong, said: The new school year brings with it both opportunities and challenges. In the era of strong digital transformation, students have access to many new technologies, from online learning platforms, electronic textbooks, to tools to support creativity and research. This is a great opportunity to expand knowledge, develop thinking capacity and digital skills. Thereby, the school hopes that each student will set clear goals for themselves, use technology consciously and smartly, know how to balance between studying, entertainment and self-training to proactively conquer knowledge, develop skills, be creative, and become knowledgeable, responsible and energetic citizens. Teachers strive in their profession, continue to be the ones to inspire passion and impart knowledge, and are also shining examples of ethics and dignity to light up dreams and ambitions for students, contributing to creating a friendly and safe learning environment.
In the 2024-2025 school year, with the efforts of all teachers, staff and students, the school has achieved proud results. Specifically, 30 students won national prizes, 100% of grade 12 students passed the high school and university graduation exams, more than 60% of students were admitted directly to university, and 1 student was admitted directly to Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine. The whole school has had more than 90% of students achieving the title of excellent students, good students; 100% of students have classified as having good conduct and many students won prizes at the provincial, regional and national levels. In addition to academic and training achievements, movement activities, culture, arts, sports and campaigns have also been maintained and developed effectively.
