(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the afternoon of September 11, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of An Giang Province Ho Van Mung chaired a meeting to hear reports on the implementation progress of four key resolutions of the Politburo. Attending the meeting were Provincial Party Committee members, Vice Chairmen of An Giang Provincial People’s Committee Le Van Phuoc, Le Trung Ho; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committees, the Office of the Provincial Party Committee, and members of the Provincial People’s Committee.

The four key resolutions of the Politburo include: Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW dated January 24, 2025, of the Politburo on international integration in the new context; Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW dated May 4, 2025, of the Politburo on the development of the private economy; Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW dated April 30, 2025, on reforming the development and enforcement of laws to meet the country’s development requirements in the new era; Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

At the meeting, relevant departments reported on implementation progress, achieved results, and difficulties that need to be resolved.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the People’s Committee of An Giang Province Ho Van Mung emphasized: the effective implementation of the Politburo’s key resolutions is of great importance, creating comprehensive development momentum for An Giang Province in the new period. Before the merger, An Giang and Kien Giang had issued all necessary documents to implement the Resolutions. After the merger, the new An Giang Province issued many documents and established steering committees to implement each Resolution based on the integrated content of the two provinces.
Chairman Ho Van Mung highly appreciated the efforts of departments, sectors, and localities that actively and proactively implemented the tasks of the four key resolutions of the Politburo promptly, fully, and in accordance with the directions of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee. This is especially notable in implementing digital transformation in governance, serving the people, business operations, and carrying out Project 06.
To implement the important contents of the Resolutions in depth, focusing on each key area, Chairman Ho Van Mung requested that departments and sectors continue their efforts, adhere closely to assigned tasks, resolve difficulties, and ensure that the Resolutions are implemented synchronously and effectively, contributing to the sustainable development of An Giang Province.
The Department of Tourism shall advise the Provincial People’s Committee to submit and issue an implementation plan for Action Program No. 03-CTr/TU of the Provincial Party Committee regarding Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW, to be completed no later than September 14.
Departments, agencies, and 102 communes, wards, and special zones must complete the development of plans to implement the Provincial People’s Committee’s implementation of the four key resolutions of the Politburo before September 20.
The Department of Education and Training shall advise the Party Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee and the Provincial People’s Committee to draft the action program of the Provincial Party Committee, and the draft plan of the Provincial People’s Committee on implementing Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in education and training development, to be completed before September 25.
Communes, wards, and special zones (excluding 47 localities that have already established) must urgently establish Steering Committees for the development of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and Project 06, to be completed before September 20.
Departments, sectors, and localities must focus on implementing specific tasks under the Provincial People’s Committee’s plans, with annexes and schedules, in the spirit of “six clarity principles”; fully implement information and reporting regimes; and strengthen inspection and supervision.
Regarding specific tasks, Chairman Ho Van Mung requested the Department of Science and Technology to coordinate with the Office of the Provincial Party Committee to study the establishment of an expert team to support the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW; and to focus on digital transformation serving the people, particularly through the Public Administration Service Center.
The Department of Health and the Department of Education and Training shall develop plans to advise the Provincial People’s Committee to achieve the goal of placing An Giang Province among the leading provinces nationwide in digital transformation in health and education. The Provincial Police shall advise the Provincial People’s Committee to accelerate the implementation of tasks under Project 06.
For Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW, the Department of Tourism shall work with the Press and Radio-Television agencies to develop specialized programs related to external information. Relevant departments and agencies shall coordinate in producing materials introducing An Giang Province; strengthen government foreign affairs, people-to-people diplomacy, and external relations with localities and countries worldwide; and intensify trade and foreign investment promotion.
For Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW, the Department of Justice shall advise the Provincial People’s Committee to direct agencies, departments, and localities to review legal normative documents; supervise, examine, and improve the quality of legal normative documents.
The Department of Finance shall advise the Provincial People’s Committee to develop a project on private economic development under Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW; and to provide guidance on addressing difficulties and obstacles for projects and enterprises investing, producing, and doing business in the province.
The Office of the Provincial People’s Committee shall coordinate with departments and agencies to review and cut down administrative procedures and processing times by at least 30%
