At the festival, 1,500 delegates including 100 leaders, guests and 1,400 delegates who are officials, civil servants, employees, members, women, students in Long Xuyen city reviewed the tradition of 115 years of International Women's Day March 08 (March 08, 1910 - March 08, 2025) and 1985 years of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising.

At the same time, delegate admired the charming beauty of traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai through the Ao Dai performance with the theme "Ao Dai - Vietnamese soul"; together spread, harmonized, connectd into a special Ao Dai performance with pride and honor for the Vietnamese Ao Dai on the background music "I love Vietnamese Ao Dai" and parade to honor traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai, together spread and affirm Vietnamese cultural values through traditional Ao Dai.

The festival honoring the traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai to celebrate the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day March 08 (March 08, 1910 - March 08, 2025) and the 1985th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising was widely deployed, mobilizing a large number of cadres, civil servants, officials, members, women, students and pupils to participate in the response.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Festival and launching the response to the Vietnam Ao Dai Week 2025, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Festival and launching the response to the Vietnamese Ao Dai Week 2025, Ms. Phan Thi Diem emphasized: The festival honors the traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai to celebrate the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day March 08 (March 08, 1910 - March 08, 2025) and the 1985th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, aiming to arouse the tradition of women's struggle around the world; review the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women. Continuing the historical tradition of Hai Ba Trung - the first two heroic female generals of the nation, An Giang women, along with women across the country, will continue to preserve and promote traditions, strive to rise up, contribute their talents, intelligence and efforts, and be ready to enter a new era - the era of national growth, contributing to the cause of building, protecting and developing the homeland and country.At the same time, it aims at promoting the success of the series of activities responding to "Ao Dai Week" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union from 2019 to present. It is hoped that "Ao Dai Week" will continue to create a ripple effect in the community so that Ao Dai costumes and Ao Dai wearing culture become the pride of Vietnamese people and women.“On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union, I officially launch and call on all members, women, female civil servants, public employees, and workers in the whole province to respond to the "Ao Dai Week" in 2025 and wear Ao Dai on working days suitable to the conditions and characteristics of the profession from March 01 to March 08, focusing on the peak of simultaneous response on March 08, in order to spread the beauty of Ao Dai appearing everywhere, from the office environment, schools to public places.
