Deputy Director of the Business Development Institute, VCCI, Le Thi Thu Thuy, opened the conference

In her opening speech, Deputy Director Le Thi Thu Thuy emphasized that intellectual property, including trademarks, patents, and industrial designs, plays a crucial role as an intangible asset and an effective tool for businesses to create a competitive advantage.

Intellectual property protection for trademarks and industrial designs helps businesses' products stand out, making them easily recognizable to consumers amidst numerous similar products, thereby building customer trust and loyalty. This is a solution to prevent competitors from copying and exploiting proprietary technologies and production processes, protecting technological advantages, and creating legal barriers for competitors.

The close combination of intellectual property registration and protection with the application of anti-counterfeiting technology solutions is a key strategy to help Vietnamese businesses establish a solid position and enhance their competitiveness in both domestic and international markets.
