The return of Russian tourists and travel companies has helped reaffirm Phu Quoc’s brand as an attractive international destination and a regional luxury resort hub, boosting tourism and trade promotion activities. According to the plan, Anex Vietnam Trading & Tourism Co., Ltd. will operate these charter flights, expected to bring over 60,000 tourists during the winter season of 2025–2026. Flights will depart from 14 cities in Russia and CIS countries at a frequency of 75–80 flights per month, ensuring the transport of over 10,000 international visitors monthly. The first flight bringing Russian tourists to Phu Quoc is scheduled for October 19. Anex Vietnam has developed diverse products and ramped up marketing and promotion of Phu Quoc through international media channels, especially targeting Eastern European and Russian markets.
To maintain tourism growth momentum, Phu Quoc is implementing various strategic solutions.
