Standing Party Committee of An Giang province awarded Party Badge on the occasion of September 2nd National Day

(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the morning of August 30, An Giang Standing Party Committee held the Party Badge Awarding Ceremony on the occation of September 02, 2024. Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Le Hong Quang chaired the ceremony. Also attending were comrades in the provincial Standing Party Committee, leaders of departments and branches of the province.

At the Ceremony, Party Badges were awarded to 14 senior Party members. Of which, the 65-year Party badge was awarded to 1 Party member, the 60-year Party badges was awarded to 5 Party members, the 55-year Party badges was awarded to 4 Party members, and the 50-year Party badges was awarded to 4 Party members.

Speaking at the ceremony, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Le Hong Quang congratulated and respectfully acknowledged the contributions of the senior Party members who received the Party Badge. At the same time, he affirmed that the Party Badge is a noble reward, a serious assessment and recognition of the merits and contributions of senior Party members to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation; and is also the pride of the Party Committee and the People of An Giang province.

An Giang Provincial Party Secretary Le Hong Quang hopes that the comrades receiving the Party Badge will continue to maintain their political qualities and revolutionary ethics, with their experiences and abilities, through appropriate forms, continue to effectively participate in the work of building the Party, government, Fatherland Front, mass organizations and revolutionary movements in the locality, and continue to be shining examples for younger generations to follow. Thereby, they continue to contribute to building An Giang - the homeland of beloved President Ton Duc Thang - to become increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized province.

On September 2, 2024, the Provincial Party Standing Committee decided to award and posthumously award Party Badges to 415 senior party members currently participate in Party cells and committees in the province./.
