(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the morning of June 5, at Studio 4, An Giang Radio and Television Station, the Organizing Committee of the Contest for composing and promoting literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton" in An Giang province, period 2024-2025 held the Award Ceremony. The ceremony was also broadcast live on ATV channel of An Giang Radio and Television Station and the Station's digital platforms.

The contest for composing and promoting literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton" in An Giang province, period 2024-2025, was launched from May 16, 2024 to March 15, 2025. After more than 1 year of implementing the Contest, the Organizing Committee has received 1,205 works in 8 categories from collectives and individuals inside and outside the province. The Jury, with an objective and impartial spirit, selected 88 outstanding works to propose to the Organizing Committee of the Contest to award prizes, including 9 A prizes, 10 B prizes, 19 C prizes and 50 Encouragement prizes in the categories: Television reportage, Radio story, Radio reportage, Literary reportage, Traditional song, Photography, Reflection article, Good people, good deeds.

Through each organization time, the Contest has truly brought practical results, creating a strong spread, attracting the attention of a large number of artists, intellectuals, journalists, cadres, party members and people inside and outside the province. With genuine emotions from the heart, the authors have vividly reflected typical examples in studying and following Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton in all areas of life, especially social security work, caring for people's lives...

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the Contest, she commended and congratulated the collectives, individuals and authors who won prizes in the Contest organized by the Central and the province. This result is a vivid demonstration of the deep concern of the Party committees and authorities at all levels and the consensus and response of cadres, party members and people to studying and following the moral example of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton in An Giang province in the past time.

To continue spreading good models, practical and effective ways of doing things in "Studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton"; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission requested that Party committees at all levels, authorities, localities and units pay attention to a number of key tasks:

Firstly, continue to promote propaganda, more deeply and widely disseminate the ideology, morality and style of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton; diversify forms of propaganda, promote award-winning works, and at the same time mobilize and create a strong spread of studying and following Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton among cadres, party members and people. Make studying and following the example of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton a personal need, linked to practical daily work.

Second, pay attention to and create conditions for artists and journalists to continue creating works of high ideological and artistic value; vividly reflecting the study and following of the ideology, morality and style of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton and the achievements of An Giang province in the process of innovation and development.

Third, continue to build, discover, honor and further expand new factors, good models and effective methods; further promote emulation movements in all fields, create a spreading force, arouse confidence, ideals and enthusiasm. At the same time, it is necessary to strictly criticize and correct distorted perceptions, words that do not match actions; resolutely fight against corruption, negativity, bureaucracy, manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the organization; fight against the wrong viewpoints of hostile forces...
