The journey of turning palm honey into a 5-star OCOP product

(AG Provincial E-Portal) - Not only did Palmania position its sugar palm sugar brand in the market with the "badge" of 5-star OCOP, and the 2-star Great Taste Awards, but Ms. Chau Ngoc Diu, General Director of Palmania Joint Stock Company (Tri Ton district), also pioneered in bringing sugar palm products to foreign markets, contributing to elevating the value of traditional sugar palm products of the Khmer people in the Seven Mountains ((Bay Nui) region of An Giang.

Currently, the company's three products - dry palm honey, thick palm honey, and palm honey kernels - were recognized as 5-star OCOP products in 2025
