(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the evening of May 8, at Nguyen Hue Walking Street (My Long Ward, Long Xuyen City), the An Giang Young Entrepreneurs Association inaugurated the “2025 Business Festival” program. The event attracted participation from more than 60 enterprises within and outside An Giang Province, showcasing, promoting, introducing, and selling distinctive and start-up products to consumers.








With the theme “Connection – Innovation – Sustainable Development,” the 2025 Business Festival of An Giang Province is a key activity to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2025). The festival aims to honor the role of businesses and entrepreneurs in socio-economic development, especially amidst the expanding trends of international integration and digital transformation.
More than 60 booths from reputable businesses inside and outside An Giang Province were organized to interconnect, ranging from product display and promotion areas to health consultation, new service and technology experience zones, and culinary areas. This setup offered the public and visitors the chance to experience the unique cultural values of An Giang and the Mekong Delta region, as well as other parts of the country..At the festival, the An Giang Young Entrepreneurs Association contributed resources to the provincial Talent Support Fund and provided 120 medical consultations and treatments, as well as 200 gifts for disadvantaged residents.Chairwoman Nguyen Thi My Linh shared that the 2025 Business Festival in An Giang Province would be held from May 8 to May 11, 2025, at Nguyen Hue Walking Street. The event features a series of activities promoting and introducing products and new brands of enterprises within and outside the province, especially the association’s members, to a broad customer base. It also creates a platform for networking, cooperation, and investment opportunities among businesses, while fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital transformation among students and youth, particularly the younger generation of An Giang Province.
Ms. Nguyen Thi My Linh emphasized that, in the context of ongoing economic challenges, particularly the prolonged effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, solidarity, mutual support, and proactive innovation among businesses are essential to drive the private sector forward during this era of national development.“This year’s Business Festival is not just a trade opportunity but also a venue where young entrepreneurs can gather, listen, share, and inspire one another to achieve stronger breakthroughs in the journey ahead,” stated Chairwoman Nguyen Thi My Linh.On this occasion, the An Giang Provincial Youth Startup Support Center recognized outstanding young entrepreneurs, including Tran Ngoc Thuan (Tinh Bien Town) for a project producing handicrafts from water hyacinth; Chau Qui Sal (Tri Ton District) for a project developing products from “chuc” plants and providing organic agriculture solutions; and Le Hung Suc (Cho Moi District) for a project creating high-quality wooden handicrafts. These exemplary startup models have significantly contributed to local socio-economic development.
Additionally, the festival served as a platform to introduce and connect organizations, individuals, and businesses interested in supporting, cooperating, and investing in the innovative ideas and start-up products of young people in An Giang Province, thereby helping to realize these business ideas and promote their market access.
