The Tinh Bien - An Giang International Trade Fair 2026 is directed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the People's Committee of An Giang Province; hosted by the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade) and the An Giang Province Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center; with additional coordination from the People's Committee of Tinh Bien Ward and relevant departments, sectors, communes, and wards.

The fair is organized to create opportunities for businesses to promote their products, seek partners, and expand markets for goods consumption. Through this, it promotes sustainable production-consumption linkages in the border area, fulfills the goal of increasing import-export turnover through border gates in An Giang Province, and strengthens friendly relations and trade cooperation between Vietnam and countries in the region. Notably, the fair is held during the Ba Chua Xu Nui Sam Festival, thereby contributing to promoting the value of the Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity and attracting tourists to An Giang.

The fair is expected to have a scale of about 260 booths, divided into main areas including: A commercial booth area with around 220 booths; A foreign enterprises booth area with about 20 booths; An Giang Province product exhibition area with around 20 booths. In addition, the fairground will feature a food area, an entertainment area, a stage for art performances, etc….

The products participating in the fair are mainly agricultural and aquatic products, consumer goods (focusing on food, household items, and apparel), industrial and handicraft products, OCOP products, regional specialties, combined with tourism promotion and investment calls…

The Opening Ceremony of the Tinh Bien - An Giang International Trade Fair 2026 will be held at 6:00 PM on June 4 at the fair's main stage, with an expected scale of about 200 delegates. In addition, within the framework of the event, the Conference on 'Trade Connection in the Vietnam - Cambodia - Laos Border Region' and the Program on 'Promoting the Consumption of An Giang Province's Products on Digital Platforms' will be held on the morning of June 5 at the Hall of the People's Committee of Tinh Bien Ward.

It is known that the Tinh Bien - An Giang International Trade Fair was first organized in 2007. As of 2026, the fair has been held 18 times (excluding 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic), of which 7 times were approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade for inclusion in the National Trade Promotion Program. The fair regularly sees the participation of numerous enterprises from Cambodia, Laos, Thailand…

This continuity has proven the effectiveness and success of the event in particular and the appeal of An Giang's market in general to domestic and foreign businesses and consumers. At the same time, it contributes to developing the border economy and promoting economic exchange between Vietnam and neighboring countries in the ASEAN region./.
