Performance by Team 1 from the Khmer Ethnic Minority Public Art Unit of Tri Ton District

The 14th Khmer Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival in An Giang province in 2025 took place from April 10 to 11 in Tri Ton district, with the participation of 7 delegations from Tinh Bien town, Tri Ton, Thoai Son, Chau Thanh, Chau Phu districts, Tri Ton Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities and An Giang Boarding Vocational Intermediate School for Ethnic Minorities.

At the festival, there were many unique and attractive activities to introduce and promote the unique cultural values, cuisine, traditional sports and tourism products of the Khmer ethnic minority region in An Giang, such as: Mass art festival; Khmer traditional culinary culture festival; sports competitions, folk games and photo exhibitions, displaying artifacts, with the theme "Khmer ethnic cultural heritage in An Giang province", space to display 10 national treasures.

The 14th Khmer Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival in An Giang Province in 2025 creates conditions for artisans and Khmer ethnic minorities in the province to meet, exchange, learn experiences, and demonstrate their talents in the fields of culture - arts, physical education - sports. Through this, it demonstrates the care and attention of the Party Committee and the authorities of An Giang Province toward the spiritual life of the ethnic communities in general and the Khmer ethnic minority in particular; encouraging the patriotic emulation movement among the ethnic people of An Giang Province, and joining hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban regions.

At the same time, we foster ethnic solidarity, enhance the enjoyment of cultural and artistic activities, and create a joyful and uplifting atmosphere on the occasion of the traditional Chol Chnam Thmay festival of the Khmer ethnic minority; celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025), as well as the 135th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2025)./.
