(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the morning of February 5th, Mr. Ho Van Mung, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee, led the provincial working delegation to survey the Tuc Dup Hill National Relic Site (An Tuc Commune, Tri Ton District). Mrs. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee and representatives of the leaders of departments and Tri Ton District joined the working delegation.


After surveying the actual tourism activities at the Tuc Dup Hill National Relic Site, working with An Giang Tourism Joint Stock Company (under Sao Mai Group) and listening to the proposals and recommendations of the company, departments and localities, Mr. Ho Van Mung, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged and commended the efforts of agencies, units and localities, including An Giang Tourism Joint Stock Company as well as Sao Mai Group in preserving and promoting the historical value of the Tuc Dup Hill National Relic Site, attracting tourists to visit and travel, contributing to the overall development of An Giang tourism industry.
Mr. Ho Van Mung, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee, suggested that in the coming time, Tri Ton District People's Committee coordinated with relevant departments and branches to urgently implement the planning of Tuc Dup Hill National Relic Site according to regulations, at the same time manage the relic site according to decentralized authority, develop solutions in order to ensure security, order, traffic safety and continue to propagate and educate revolutionary history for the young generation and Tri Ton people.
Mr. Ho Van Mung, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee, assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with Tri Ton District People's Committee and An Giang Tourism Joint Stock Company to ensure the management, conservation and promotion of the value of Tuc Dup Hill National Relic Site; review the contents according to legal regulations (including the 2024 Law on Cultural Heritage) to advise the Provincial People's Committee to direct the effective implementation of relic site management.
In addition, An Giang Tourism Joint Stock Company was requested to coordinate with relevant sectors and localities to strictly manage the relic site, demonstrate its solemnity, and not allow visitors to engage in activities that affect the value of the relic. In addition, at tourist attractions, it was necessary to arrange information boars and QR code scanning applications so that visitors could learn more about the historical value of the relic site... ./.
