Pursuant to Decision 297/QD-UBND dated March 6, 2025 of the Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, 4 working groups were established to direct economic growth to monitor and direct the socio-economic development targets and tasks of the province in various fields. Accordingly, Working Group No. 4 performs the task of monitoring and directing the following fields: Agriculture, environment and construction.

At the meeting, members of the working group reported on the results of the first months of the year, the direction of implementing targets and tasks in the fields of agriculture, environment and construction in the coming time. At the same time, they discussed the plan to implement the tasks of the working group, responsibilities of the departments and branches that are members to contribute to the implementation of the province's double-digit growth target in 2025.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc, Head of Working Group No. 4 on directing the province's economic growth, emphasized that the implementation of the growth target in 2025 is of great significance, contributing to the completion of the 2020-2025 term goals. Therefore, the departments and branches that are members of the working group need to review the tasks, propose plans and solutions to effectively implement the targets and tasks in their assigned areas. At the same time, it is necessary to regularly inspect, supervise and support localities in performing tasks in the fields of agriculture, environment, construction, etc../.
