(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the morning of January 29th, Mr. Le Trung Ho, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province, led a delegation to visit and extend New Year greetings for Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 to Brigade 950 and the families of exemplary individuals who rendered meritorious services to the revolution in Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone.
At Brigade 950, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Trung Ho emphasized that Brigade 950 is one of the steel shields that firmly upholds and protects national sovereignty over the sea and islands, especially Phu Quoc Island. Over the last period, Brigade 950 has thoroughly grasped its political tasks and combat readiness training, especially in coordinating with the Party Committee, the government of the Phu Quoc Special Zone, and other forces stationed in the area to ensure political security and public order, contributing to maintaining security stability and promoting socio-economic development of Phu Quoc in particular and An Giang province in general.
Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Trung Ho acknowledged the efforts and achievements of the command, officers, and soldiers of Brigade 950; with its role as a steel shield on the pearl island, he hoped that Brigade 950 would continue to maintain its achievements, further improve training and combat readiness, closely coordinate with the Party Committee and government of Phu Quoc Special Zone and forces stationed in the area to firmly grasp the situation on land and at sea, avoiding any unexpected situations; and better care for the lives of soldiers, especially during Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026. He urged them to continue striving to protect the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands, and to excellently fulfill their assigned tasks.
During Tet (Lunar New Year) visit to the family of war invalid Huynh Van Hoang, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Trung Ho cordially inquired about the health and living conditions of the families; expressing deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of war invalids, martyrs, and those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution in the cause of national liberation and defense of the Fatherland.
Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province, Le Trung Ho, emphasized: The Party, the State, and the people always remember and are grateful for the great contributions of the families of wounded soldiers, martyrs, and meritorious individuals who have endured many sacrifices and losses so that the homeland can have peace, independence, and development as it does today.
Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee, Le Trung Ho, requested that local Party committees and authorities continue to pay attention to and better care for the material and spiritual lives of policy beneficiaries in the area. He also expressed his hope that policy beneficiary families and those who have contributed to the revolution will continue to uphold their patriotic spirit, working together with local Party committees and authorities to build and protect their homeland; actively participating in local revolutionary movements and actions to contribute to building a prosperous and happy life and an increasingly beautiful homeland.
