(AG Provincial E-Portal) - According to the People's Committee of An Giang Province, a Business Dialogue Conference will be organized in 2025 to provide timely support, address difficulties and obstacles faced by businesses in production and operations, accelerate the implementation of investment projects, and promote economic and social development.
The conference will be chaired by Mr. Ho Van Mung, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang Province, with the participation of leaders from provincial departments, agencies, district-level, town, and city People's Committees, as well as representatives from the Provincial Business Association, the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association, the Young Entrepreneurs Association, industry-specific associations, and businesses with concerns or difficulties that require resolution from competent authorities.
This Business Dialogue Conference is part of the province’s regular monthly and quarterly dialogue plan. The agenda will include an update on the province's socio-economic situation for the first quarter of 2025, dissemination of new policies and guidelines from the Party and the State, as well as policies related to business activities. Additionally, provincial leaders aim to listen to business contributions regarding economic and social governance, along with proposals and requests to resolve challenges businesses and investors face in production, operations, and project implementation. The goal is to foster a favorable, transparent, and efficient investment and business environment while strengthening mutual understanding and cooperation between businesses and state agencies, ensuring a stable and supportive environment for enterprises to invest, operate, and contribute to the province’s economic and social development.
The conference will be conducted in an open and constructive spirit, emphasizing mutual listening and collaboration under the "Three Together" principle:
1.Together Listen and Understand – Encouraging open dialogue between businesses, the government, and citizens.
2. Together Share Vision and Action – Aligning perspectives and initiatives for economic and social development.
3. Together Work, Succeed, and Grow – Promoting shared efforts, collective success, and mutual development.
Businesses and investors with concerns, difficulties, or requests are encouraged to submit their inquiries to the Provincial Business Association or the Department of Finance (via the Investment Promotion and Business Support Center) before March 9, 2025, for consolidation and preparation for the conference.
The Business Dialogue Conference 2025 is scheduled to take place between March 10 and March 14, 2025, at the Office of the People's Committee of An Giang Province./.
