On the afternoon of April 11, the People's Committee of An Giang province held a ceremony to announce the Decision to establish the Provincial Market Management Division and personnel work. An Giang Provincial Market Management Division has been established under Decision 420/QD-UBND dated March 31, 2025 of An Giang Provincial People's Committee, an organization under the Department of Industry and Trade of the province, reorganized and rearranged on the basis of receiving the original status of An Giang Provincial Market Management Department under the General Department of Market Management (Ministry of Industry and Trade). After its establishment, An Giang Provincial Market Management Division has 2 functional units (Professional - General Affairs and Organization - Administration) and 6 Inter-district Market Management Teams, with 106 officers and civil servants.
At the ceremony, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Van Phuoc presented the Decision to establish the An Giang Provincial Market Management Division under the An Giang Department of Industry and Trade.
Leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade of An Giang province presented the Decision to receive and appoint Mr. Tran Thanh Binh, Director of the Market Management Department of An Giang province, to work at the Market Management Division under the Department of Industry and Trade of An Giang province and appointed him to hold the position of Director of the Market Management Division of the province (appointment period of 5 years from April 3, 2025).
At the same time, the Decision to accept Mr. Duong Duc Dat and Mr. Ha Thanh Hai, Deputy Director of the Market Management Department of An Giang province, to work at the Market Management Division under the Department of Industry and Trade of An Giang province and appoint them to the position of Deputy Director of the Market Management Division of the province (appointment period of 5 years from April 3, 2025).
Speaking at the ceremony, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Van Phuoc emphasized that although the model has changed, the functions and tasks have not changed, and are even more difficult and burdensome in the current situation. Accordingly, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Market Management Division to urgently consolidate the organization, immediately get to work, ensure smooth and effective tasks; continue to perform well the tasks of market management, anti-smuggling, counterfeit goods, contributing to stabilizing production...
