The socio-economic situation of An Giang province in the first quarter continues to achieve many positive results, with good growth compared to the same period in 2024 in many areas, contributing to the completion of the socio-economic goals of 2025. GRDP growth in the first quarter of 2025 is estimated at 7.12% and higher than the same period in the first quarter of 2024 (5.52%). This result exceeded the scenario according to the Growth Plan of 8.50% (the first quarter estimate at 7.00%). The main economic indicators maintains high growth rates compared to the same period in 2024 such as: Industrial production index of the whole province; wholesale and retail sales of goods and services; export turnover of goods; total revenue from tourism activities increase compared to the same period.

Estimated budget revenue in the first quarter reaches VND 2,695 billion, reaching 35.09% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council, exceeding the average estimated progress.
