(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the morning of April 4th, the member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee, Le Hong Quang, who is also the head of the Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation Development, chaired a meeting of the Steering Committee to discuss and provide feedback on several matters within their authority.



The meeting was attended by Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Council, Mr. Le Van Nung; alternate member of the Central Party Committee, Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Ho Van Mung; and other members of the Steering Committee.
After hearing the discussions of the committee members regarding the opportunities, challenges, and proposed solutions for implementing Action Program 32-CTr/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, Mr. Le Hong Quang, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Steering Committee, requested that the Steering Committee take note of the contributions and proposed solutions from the members at the meeting to ensure more effective leadership and implementation in the future. He instructed the An Giang Provincial People's Committee to direct the relevant departments, agencies, and localities, in accordance with their functions and tasks, to strictly implement the Politburo's resolution, the Government's resolutions, the Provincial Party Standing Committee's action program, and the Provincial People's Committee's plan for the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation. Additionally, the Provincial Party Office was tasked with advising on the establishment of a working group for the Steering Committee and notifying the task assignments of the Steering Committee members.
Furthermore, emphasis should be placed on planning, training, and developing staff to meet the requirements of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation. It is also important to strengthen the dissemination and implementation of the Politburo's Resolution 57-NQ/TW, the action program 32-CTr/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and the Party and State's viewpoints, policies, and strategies for the national science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation breakthroughs. This should reach all officials, party members, and the people to raise awareness and determination in the development of science, technology, and innovation, and to implement digital transformation in the entire political system, among the people, and enterprises, creating trust and a new momentum across society.
The Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee assigned the Provincial Party Office to be the standing agency of the Steering Committee, assisting the Committee in the implementation process. Additionally, the Provincial People's Committee was instructed to advise on the establishment of a provincial advisory group on the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, inviting scientists and experts from within and outside the province to participate. Moreover, it is important to organize a competition to promote digital technology learning, the application of science and technology, innovation, and to monitor and supervise the implementation of the Politburo's Resolution 57-NQ/TW. The implementation must adhere to the principles and regulations set by the Central Government, ensuring smooth leadership by the Provincial Party Standing Committee while combating corruption, waste, negativity, and group interests./.
