The 2025 An Giang Provincial Vovinam Youth Tournament attracted nearly 130 athletes (58 female) from 11 units representing districts, towns, and cities across the province. The athletes competed in 32 weight classes in the combat category (17 male weight classes and 15 female weight classes) for two age groups: 12 to 14 years old and 15 to 17 years old, as well as 10 events in traditional Vovinam forms.

The tournament is expected to run until May 8, 2025, in celebration of the 71st anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 – May 7, 2025) and the 135th anniversary of the birth of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2025). Additionally, the event provides an opportunity for the participating units to compete, exchange ideas, and enhance their training and coaching efforts, contributing to the improvement of athletes' skills and performance in both training and competition.
