(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On January 20, An Phu District Party Committee and People's Committee held a meeting to celebrate the Party and At Ty Lunar New Year 2025, with the participation of leaders and former leaders of the district through the periods and cadres, civil servants of sectors and localities throughout the district. Colonel Lam Phuoc Nguyen, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of An Giang Provincial Public Security; Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc also attended.
At the meeting, delegates listened to the highlights of the local political and socio-economic development tasks in 2024. In particular, the upstream district has achieved and exceeded 20/20 targets compared to the set plan; social security work, care for people with meritorious services, poor and near-poor households have always been well implemented; political security, social order and safety, and border security have been maintained and stabilized.
In 2025, An Phu District Party Committee and People's Committee will focus on implementing key tasks, such as: Successfully organizing congresses of branches and grassroots party committees to move towards organizing the 8th An Phu District Party Congress.
