Bishop of Long Xuyen Diocese Tran Van Toan informed about the activities of the diocese and thanked the working group for their Christmas wishes

He stated that in 2024, the province exceeded and achieved numerous socio-economic development objectives, continuously improved and enhanced the quality of life of the populace, maintained political security, social order, and safety, and consolidated and strengthened the great national unity bloc. The accomplishments are the outcome of the collective efforts of the entire political system, as well as the solidarity, joint efforts, and consensus of all social classes, including the contributions of Catholic compatriots in the province.

The valuable contributions of the bishops, priests, monks, nuns, and all Catholics in the province were acknowledged and highly appreciated by Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Council, Le Van Nung, on behalf of the provincial leaders. Consequently, he articulated his conviction that the bishops, priests, and parishioners of Long Xuyen Diocese will persist in their diligent execution of the Party's policies and the State's laws, their active engagement in patriotic emulation initiatives initiated at the central and local levels, and their collaboration with the Party Committee, government, and people of An Giang to construct a more prosperous and civilized homeland for President Ton Duc Thang.
