Increased support for businesses and trade promotion both domestically and internationally will be carried out to introduce, advertise, and connect the consumption of products, expanding the export market. The province will also continue to implement tourism stimulus programs and develop unique tourism products associated with building a brand for local tourist areas. Efforts will be made to enhance tourism promotion, connection, and cooperation through conferences and seminars.

In concluding the meeting, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy emphasized that 2025 is a pivotal year for the country to enter a new era, with the need for double-digit growth in the 2026-2030 period. Therefore, An Giang, along with the rest of the country, must strive for breakthrough growth to achieve the 5-year plan for 2021-2025, laying the foundation for future growth. To achieve a growth target of over 10%, the sectors of culture, sports, and tourism need to specify quarterly targets and tasks in line with their responsibilities. The tasks and solutions for boosting services and tourism must be linked to clear goals to drive sectoral growth in line with local realities. This includes calculating strategies and growth targets for the number of overnight visitors, with a clear evaluation of both provincial and international visitor numbers.

The Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism is tasked with improving service quality, digital transformation, and developing smart tourism; enhancing collaboration in tourism promotion with localities across the country. Results will be evaluated quarterly to devise practical tasks and solutions; new and diversified tourism products will be developed to contribute to the province's 10% economic growth target.

The Department of Science and Technology is tasked with researching ways to enhance communication and promote tourist destinations in An Giang via text messages and social media platforms for visitors to the province, especially through QR code promotions at tourist sites. Along with this, the department will strengthen the publicity of tourism, ensuring security and order at tourist spots to guarantee the growth target./.
