On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province, Le Van Phuoc, affirmed that the motto of "Learning Buddha - Cultivating Humanity" of Hoa Hao Buddhism, which mainly takes the repayment of the four graces as the basis for practice and accompanying the nation, has gradually and truly become an objective necessity of the process of integrating religion and life. Along with that, followers actively participate in charity and social activities, bringing many practical benefits to the community, such as: Charity Houses, repairing and building new bridges and roads; helping poor patients, launching charity rice, people's cemeteries, kitchens to serve schools and hospitals, etc.

“According to statistics for the fifth term (2019-2024), the total amount of charity and social activities in the entire religion is about VND 2,500 billion, of which VND 570 billion is particularly in An Giang. Responding to the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2024-2025, the Central Executive Committee of the Hoa Hao Buddhism has registered to support compatriots in An Giang with VND 50 billion. This is a very impressive number, contributing significantly to social security policies. I warmly commend the community spirit of the Hoa Hao Buddhist Association and its followers.
