In 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in An Giang province have effectively implemented the program of coordinated action; contributing to the successful implementation of the province's socio-economic, security and defense goals and targets. Patriotic emulation movements and the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" continue to be maintained, attracting the participation of all classes of people, making an important contribution to accelerating the process of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas. The "For the Poor" Fund at all levels in An Giang province has received contributions in cash and in kind from organizations and individuals inside and outside the province with a total value of over VND 274 billion and the initial amount transferred to over VND 35 billion, raising the total value to over VND 309 billion. Thereby, nearly VND 277.3 billion has been spent to support the construction and repair of Great Solidarity houses, visit and give gifts to poor households...  

The Front and socio-political organizations have mobilized the People to promote their mastery in participating in Party building and government building, attracting most sectors to contribute many opinions to policies on building and developing the economy, culture - society, security and national defense in the locality. Social supervision and criticism activities have been focused on with the establishment of delegations to supervise the implementation of the law on receiving citizens, handling complaints, denunciations, supervision, etc.

Speaking at the Conference, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province Dang Thi Hoa Ray suggested: The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee coordinates with socio-political organizations to promote propaganda, thoroughly grasp and strictly implement Directive 40 of the Secretariat on organizing the Lunar New Year 2025; promote the tradition of "mutual love and support"; mobilize social resources to effectively implement social security and welfare policies, take good care of the material and spiritual life of the people, especially those in difficult circumstances, ensuring that every household and every person has the conditions to enjoy and celebrate Tet; Mobilize resources of society, enterprises and the entire population to successfully implement the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025;

Continue to pay attention to and innovate the work of grasping the people's situation, improve the quality of collecting opinions and recommendations from voters and people; continue to improve the quality of campaigns and movements launched by the Central and local levels. In addition, to promote the widespread dissemination of the Party's guidelines, policies and resolutions, gradually improve the work of social supervision and criticism; promote the role of gathering the masses and socio-political organizations; Innovate and diversify the forms of organization and methods of gathering and mobilizing, focusing on the grassroots and residential areas to meet the requirements of the new situation; Focus on deploying the application of information technology and digital transformation in the Vietnam Fatherland Front system at all levels...

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with many contributions to the Front's work and coordination on the implementation of movements and campaigns chaired and launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front in 2024./.
