(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the afternoon of October 29, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Van Phuoc chaired a meeting to review the organization of the 200th Anniversary of Vinh Te Canal completion (1824 - 2024) and the National Scientific Conference "200 years of Vinh Te Canal - Historical value and future vision".

At the meeting, representatives of Chau Doc City People's Committee reported on the overall preparation for the organization of event (progress of work, list of delegates attending the conference, the celebration, logistics, etc.). At the same time, the Provincial Science and History Association reported on the progress of professional work on organizing the conference; departments, branches, and units reported on the coordination of organizing and implementing tasks. Up to this moment, the preparation steps for the celebration have been basically completed. The coordination between the city and the provincial sub-committees is quite strictly.
The National Scientific Conference “200th Anniversary of Vinh Te Canal - Historical value and future vision” will be held at 7:30 a.m. on November 14 at Chau Doc City Party Committee Hall.
