(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the afternoon of 04/12, the My Hoa Hung Commune People’s Committee and VNPT Long Xuyen signed a digital transformation cooperation agreement for 2025–2030, aiming to build a synchronized digital government and improve public services from the grassroots level.

Attendees included Mr. Vo Minh Tuan, Secretary of the My Hoa Hung Commune Party Committee; Mr. Ly Huynh Nhat Nam, Chairman of the My Hoa Hung Commune People’s Committee; Mr. Nguyen Ba My An, Deputy Director of the VNPT An Giang Solutions Center; and Mr. Nguyen Phu Bao Loc, Director of VNPT Long Xuyen.
Under the agreement, VNPT Long Xuyen will work with My Hoa Hung Commune to deploy modern technologies such as AI, IoT, and Blockchain; ensure information safety and security; and apply these to population data management as well as electronic identification and authentication—serving the development of digital government, digital economy, and digital society in line with provincial and central orientations.
In 2025, VNPT Long Xuyen will deploy IT products and services to support digital transformation for the Commune People’s Committee, including a remote ticketing/queuing system via Zalo, citizen ID card readers, security cameras, and information security solutions; it will also extend VPT-iOffice to each neighborhood and hamlet and apply VNPT Gomeet for administration.
In 2026, VNPT will continue with records digitization via VNPT eDIGI, electronic collection of non-agricultural land tax, social-media monitoring through vnSocial, the iMarket smart market, a Smart Operations Center, IP broadcasting, and comprehensive upgrades to digital infrastructure.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Ly Huynh Nhat Nam affirmed that the signing marks an important milestone reflecting the locality’s determination to pursue comprehensive digital transformation. As an island commune, digital transformation helps bridge distances, accelerate information connectivity, promote trade and tourism, and improve residents’ livelihoods. For 2025–2030, the commune will focus on three directions: building a unified digital transformation platform; strengthening digital infrastructure and online public services; and applying technology to socio-economic development—supporting household businesses, cooperatives, and farmers in promoting OCOP products—while emphasizing digital skills training for officials and residents.
The commune leadership is confident that, with VNPT Long Xuyen’s capabilities and public consensus, My Hoa Hung will soon become a model commune for digital transformation in An Giang Province. Such government–business coordination is an effective cooperation model, creating momentum for the locality to make strong breakthroughs on its digital-transformation journey in the time ahead./.
