Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee, underscored the following during the opening ceremony: The education sector has implemented comprehensive innovation solutions to enhance the quality of education at all levels in the past school year, with the motto "taking students as the center" and a focus on human development to cultivate high-quality human resources for the province. In particular, successfully organized the 2024 High School Graduation Exam. The province's overall graduation rate was 99.61%, as indicated by the recently released results. The average score remained in the top 10 nationwide and was the highest in the Mekong Delta region. The aforementioned results are an objective reflection of the teaching staff's efforts, the learning efforts of students, and the quality of teaching in the province.

In addition to family and school education, the province's educational career is supported by the synchronous coordination of all levels, sectors, and society, including Nguyen Hien High School, in order to achieve these successes.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, the Vice Chairwoman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee, expressed her admiration and congratulations for the accomplishments, results, and efforts of Nguyen Hien High School and the education sector in general during the 2023-2024 academic year. Additionally, in the previous academic year, Nguyen Hien High School implemented innovative management strategies, with an emphasis on enhancing the quality of instruction and efficiently organizing educational activities. These strategies included the promotion of personal responsibility, the reinforcement of discipline, the enhancement of democracy and collective strength, and the arousal of the aspirations of both students and teachers, all of which led to positive outcomes. The high school graduation rate reached 100%, and over 85% of students enrolled in universities, colleges, and vocational schools.

In response to the requirements, tasks and goals set for the 2024-2025 school year, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee requested the Board of Directors of Nguyen Hien High School in particular, and schools in the province in general, to closely follow the direction of local Party committees, authorities and the education sector; urgently review and rearrange the organization and apparatus; restructure the teaching staff, reassign the work of the service staff so that it is most effective and not wasteful; restructure investment capital for education and training in a practical and effective direction, focusing more on people (teachers and students); in addition, ensure a clean, tidy and orderly learning and living environment; build a healthy cultural environment, especially school culture; Focus on innovating content and advanced, modern teaching and learning methods through strong application of information technology, promoting students' initiative and creativity, taking students as the center.

Simultaneously, it is advised that party committees, authorities at all levels and sectors proactively engage, prioritize the cause of education and training, allocate resources, invest in facilities, ensure favorable development conditions, and meet the demands of educational innovation. Additionally, they should provide guidance on the timely implementation of the province's education and training development policies, as well as pay close attention to specific policies regarding regimes, recruitment, and the utilization of teachers, in order to effectively execute the objectives and responsibilities established for the 2024-2025 academic year. In this way, the Education and Training Development Plan for the 2021–2025 period of the province, as well as the education and training targets, will be successfully completed in accordance with the spirit of the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020–2025 term.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Rot, the principal of Nguyen Hien High School, the school achieved a 100% pass rate on the high school graduation exam during the 2023-2024 academic year. The school's average score for high school graduation exams was 7,167, which is 0.143 points higher than the province's and represents a 0.406 point increase from 2023. Instructional effectiveness was 97.17%.

The entrance exam for grade 10 for the 2024-2025 academic year was successfully administered by the institution. There were 540 successful candidates in total. Two individuals were recommended to receive Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, and the school has 10 groups that are recognized as advanced labor groups.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, Nguyen Hien High School has maintained a 100% high school graduation rate and is committed to achieving even greater objectives in the upcoming academic year, thereby confirming the quality of its education.

During the Opening Ceremony, numerous groups and individuals were awarded the Medal "For the Cause of Education," as well as certificates of merit for completing tasks successfully and scholarships for disadvantaged students.
