(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On October 27, the Labor Union and Youth Union of An Giang Fruit and Vegetable Joint Stock Company (Antesco) organized the Contest in 2024 on "Golden Hands in Mango Processing" for employees working at the company's factories. Antesco General Director Nguyen Hoang Minh chaired the contest.
At the contest, 145 employees working at 3 factories: My An (Cho Moi district), Binh Khanh (Long Xuyen city), Binh Long (Chau Phu district) participated in 3 contests: Self-introduction, theory and practice.
The test content is multiple choice, testing basic knowledge in production processes, food safety and hygiene, product quality standards in agricultural processing and knowledge of product quality management.
In the practical part, the teams carry out the actual steps of peeling and slicing mangoes with fast completion speed, ensuring high quantity and efficiency; checking and classifying products at the factory.
As a result, Binh Khanh Factory won the first prize; My An and Binh Long factories shared the second prize. In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded a prize worth VND 15 million to Binh Khanh Factory for creating an effective “2 in 1” mango cutting and peeling tool.
This is a competition activity in production, to improve workers' skills, teamwork spirit and improve production processes; practicing skills, enhance professional skills, improve labor productivity through practice on the production line; exchange experiences, share creative ways in the production process. In particular, this is a practical activity towards the 50th anniversary of Antesco Company's founding (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025)./.
