(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On the morning of November 18, Ho Van Mung, Alternate Member of the Central Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang Province, chaired a thematic meeting of the PPC members. The agenda included approving decisions under the PPC's jurisdiction and reviewing matters presented to the Provincial Party Personnel Committee. Also in attendance were the Vice-Chairpersons of An Giang Province.
During the meeting, delegates deliberated on and provided feedback for three draft resolutions submitted by various departments and agencies. These drafts include a resolution adjusting and supplementing the detailed allocation of the 2024 public investment plan funded by the local budget; a resolution revising the budget estimates for funds supporting the utilization of public irrigation products and services for 2024 under provincial management; and a resolution amending the budget estimates for funds aimed at protecting and developing rice cultivation areas in 2024, also under provincial management.
The meeting also approved nine proposals and resolutions, including proposal 878/TTr-BND dated September 17, 2024, on amending the investment policy report for a project creating land resources and infrastructure for office relocation and resettlement in the Bac Ha Hoang Ho Planning Zone; a proposal seeking opinions on amendments to the land price list applicable until December 31, 2025, and new land prices effective from August 1, 2024; a resolution on the province's borrowing limit, borrowing plan, and debt repayment for 2025; submission to the Provincial People's Council for a resolution defining recipients and allowances for Lunar New Year visits and support in An Giang Province; approval of the tourism branding identity and communication strategy for An Giang through 2025, with an orientation toward 2030; a proposal to repeal Resolution 04/2024/NQ-HDND dated April 19, 2024, of the Provincial People's Council regarding healthcare service pricing outside the scope of health insurance coverage in public facilities under An Giang Province; approval of the project to build a new drug rehabilitation facility in An Giang, covering 130,256 square meters, with a capacity for 1,000 individuals and a total estimated cost of VND 467.6 billion; adjustments and additions to Plan 80-KH/TU dated November 10, 2022, by the Provincial Standing Committee on organizing important provincial commemorative events for 2022–2025; approval of the drafting of a resolution and regulation for the An Giang Literary and Artistic Awards.
