Chairing the dialogue were representatives of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Provincial Pulic Security, Provincial Tax Department, Provincial Labor Confederation, Provincial Social Insurance and over 270 delegates representing leaders of relevant departments, agencies and branches, People's Committees, Divisions of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Public Security, Regional Tax Sub-Department, Labor Confederation, Social Insurance, enterprises, cooperatives, business households, private pharmaceutical establishments in Long Xuyen city, Chau Thanh and Thoai Son districts attended.
At the Conference, delegates listened to propagation of regulations on labor, wages, labor contracts, and responsibilities for entering into labor contracts; Information to businesses about social insurance and health insurance payments that are deductible when calculating personal income tax; disseminating legal provisions on illegal and prohibited acts that must be handled according to the provisions of the Penal Code.
At the same time, the Conference also disseminated regulations on subjects, payment levels, payment methods, responsibilities to participate in and pay social insurance and compulsory health insurance; Benefits and rights of units, businesses and employees participating in and paying compulsory social insurance and health insurance; Notified each unit about the number of employees currently employed, but have not yet registered to participate in and pay compulsory social insurance and health insurance, request and guidance to units on the registration to participate in and pay compulsory social and health insurance according to regulations.
Currently, An Giang Social Insurance is managing over 3,337 units hiring over 114,647 employees. There are 675 units with delayed payments of 2 months or more, with an amount of 84.18 billion VND. Through listening to the information deployed, the dialogue received many comments, suggestions and recommendations from businesses.
Functional agencies replied opinions and businesses were also advised on a number of issues that need to be kept in mind regarding the rights and responsibilities of employers in paying social insurance, health insurance, and health insurance, unemployment insurance according to the Law, acts of violations, so that businesses can properly ensure the rights of employees./.
