(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On August 17th, the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation held a conference to commend outstanding union members and workers in the movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income." The event was attended by Mrs. Tran Thi Thanh Huong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang Province.
The conference also was attended by Mr. Le Van Phuoc, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
According to the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor, patriotic emulation movements among civil servants, public employees, and workers have consistently received strong attention. Many grassroots trade unions have proactively coordinated with agencies, organizations, and businesses to roll out initiatives tailored to specific sectors, inspiring a sense of responsibility, professional dedication, and creativity among employees.
Thousands of initiatives, technical improvements, production streamlining solutions, technology applications, and digital transformation measures have been proposed and implemented, contributing to enhanced productivity and quality, material savings, cost reductions, safety assurance, and improved production and business efficiency.
At the conference, the Provincial Federation of Labor commended and awarded certificates of merit to 75 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the "Skilled Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" emulation movement of 2026.
These are exemplary workers from a wide range of industries, sectors, and work environments - spanning roles from direct production to engineering, technology, healthcare, education, management, and operations. Through their work, they have developed practical initiatives, improvements, and solutions that contribute to cost savings and enhance quality, productivity, operational efficiency, and workplace safety.
The conference serves as an occasion for the An Giang Trade Union to recognize and honor collectives and individuals who have demonstrated outstanding achievements and contributed significant effort, initiatives, and solutions in labor, production, and professional activities. It aims to spread the spirit of "skilled and creative labor," motivating union members and workers to uphold their sense of responsibility, continuously innovate, and enhance productivity, quality, and work efficiency, thereby contributing to building a workforce of workers, civil servants, and laborers in An Giang province that is increasingly modern and responsible, capable of meeting development requirements in the new context.
