The meeting spent time to discuss and give opinions on the contents submitted by the Provincial People's Committee, such as: Proposing to develop a Resolution to cancel Resolution 40/2022/NQ-HDND, dated December 12, 2022 of the Provincial People's Council stipulating the social assistance standards and social assistance levels applied in the province; Resolution to cancel Resolution 15/2019/NQ-HDND, dated December 11, 2019 stipulating the award of the Badge "For the cause of construction and development of An Giang province"; Proposing to develop a Resolution stipulating the bird's nest farming area in the province; Draft Resolution on promulgating a list of resolutions regarding detailing the Land Law; Registering the content of the thematic session at the end of 2024 of the 10th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026. At the same time, the meeting gave opinions and approved the draft report on the results of activities in the first 9 months of 2024, the report on implementing socio-economic tasks in September, the key tasks in October 2024 of the Boards and the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council...

Speaking at the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council requested leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, relevant departments and branches to proactively develop and complete the content and submission in accordance with the prescribed procedures and time to send to the Boards and the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council; redefine the content to be approved at thematic session and the session at the end of 2024 of Provincial People's Council; enhance the advisory role and proactiveness of departments and branches, and the responsibility of each individual involved, to avoid delaying the progress of the common work./.
