In accordance with Decision No. 2252/QD-UBND, issued on September 23, 2020, by the People’s Committee of An Giang Province, which approved the inventory list of Oc Eo cultural archaeological sites in the province for the 2020–2025 period, Chau Doc City is home to four Oc Eo cultural archaeological relics: Vinh Dong, Ba Chua Xu Temple on Sam Mountain, Giac Huong Ancient Temple, and the Ba Ngu Stone Platform.

The strategy emphasizes the sustainable use of natural resources at the relic sites to support tourism development while safeguarding the natural landscapes, resources, and environment.
