(AG Provincial E-Portal) - Mr. Tran Dong Xuan, Director of Tan Thang Commercial Construction Investment Co., Ltd. (Long Xuyen City), donated 100 million VND to the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province on the morning of September 11. The donation was intended to provide assistance and support to the residents of provinces and cities that were affected by Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi).
Mr. Tran Dong Xuan, the first individual to respond to the call, promptly supported and contributed, creating a spreading force to join hands to support the people damaged by Typhoon No. 3. In his speech at the reception, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang Province, Dang Thi Hoa Ray, sincerely thanked and recognized the valuable contribution and expressed gratitude to the golden heart of him. The appropriate purpose and object will receive the appropriate amount of support to assist individuals.
Mr. Dang Thi Hoa Ray, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang Province and a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, stated that the intention is to promptly provide assistance and support to individuals in areas that have been affected by Typhoon No. 3. The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee's Standing Committee has transferred 500 million VND from the Provincial Relief Fund to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee in order to provide assistance to the residents of five provinces: Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Cao Bang, Lang Son, and Phu Tho (each at a rate of 100 million VND).
Simultaneously, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has issued an appeal to cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, laborers, armed forces, individuals from all walks of life, agencies, units, enterprises, organizations, and individuals both within and outside the province to promote the tradition of solidarity and mutual affection, as exemplified by the phrase "healthy leaves cover torn leaves," in the spirit of "giving rice and sharing clothes," and to demonstrate responsibility, love, and support for those in regions that have been severely affected by storms and floods. Consequently, we are uniting to provide assistance and solidarity to those who have been impacted by floods and storms.
From October 9, 2024, to October 15, 2024, reception will be available. Support is being provided through the An Giang Provincial Relief Committee, with an account number of 3751.0.3029363.00000, located at the State Treasury of An Giang province. The purpose of this support is to assist provinces that have been affected by storms and floods.
