(AG Provincial E-Portal) -On the afternoon of May 27, Nguyen Tien Hai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee, and Head of An Giang Province’s National Assembly Delegation, surveyed the Trà Sư Melaleuca Forest Landscape Conservation Area.
Joining him were An Giang Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy and representatives from provincial departments and agencies.
After the leadership of An Giang Provincial Forest Management Board - Region II reported on the ecosystem status, forest protection activities, and a field survey at the Trà Sư Melaleuca Forest Landscape Conservation Area, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Tien Hai requested that the Forest Rangers and An Giang Provincial Forest Management Board - Region II focus on strengthening forest protection; forest fire prevention and fighting, especially during the dry season.
The Provincial Party Secretary requested that Sao Mai Group coordinate with relevant agencies and local authorities to strictly manage and exploit tourism in the Trà Sư Melaleuca Forest Landscape Conservation Area. At the same time, strengthen patrols and strictly control boundary areas, trails, and access points to preserve the intact forest and melaleuca forest landscape ecosystems.
Regarding the socio-economic development orientation for An Cư Commune, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Tien Hai requested that the Commune People’s Committee urgently complete the commune planning in line with the provincial planning. This should include prioritizing essential projects and works that create momentum for breakthrough local development, focusing on: transport infrastructure, agriculture, social affairs, healthcare, education…
