(AG Provincial E-Portal) - On April 21st, in Paris, Mr. Le Van Phuoc, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province, led a delegation to pay a courtesy call to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Viet Nam to France, Mr. Trinh Duc Hai. This was an activity of An Giang province on the occasion of joining the Vietnamese delegation to attend the 224th Session of the UNESCO Executive Board in France from April 19th to 25th.

They discussed the World Heritage nomination file with local experts, scientists and leaders from relevant departments, agencies.

The event was part of the Vietnam–Cambodia Border Trade Connectivity Forum in An Giang.

(An Giang Province’s Electronic Information Portal) - On August 19, the An Giang Provincial Department of Health, in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), held the inauguration ceremony of the 'Sunshine House' model, a support center for women and girls affected by violence in An Giang Province.

Accompanying him were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Ngo Cong Thuc, and leaders from various provincial departments and agencies.

Leaders of various agencies, departments, and units also attended.

(AG Provincial E-Portal) - In the event of the 19th Session of UNESCO, in Asunción Capital, Paraguay, the working delegation of An Giang province led by comrade Le Hong Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, had meeting with Mrs. Maria del Carmen Pérez Falabella, Honorary Consul of Vietnam in Paraguay. The meeting took place in an atmosphere of cooperative partnership and promotion of international exchanges.
