An Giang PPC’s Chairman Ho Van Mung requested that the Oc Eo Cultural Relic Management Board of An Giang province be more active, more urgent, and carry out tasks strictly in accordance with the provisions of law; advise the Provincial People's Committee to prepare a general report on the relic conservation and promotion, including specific content for preparing a dossier to request UNESCO to recognize it as a World Cultural Heritage, firstly to report to the Prime Minister; Continue to pay attention to promoting the value of the Oc Eo - Ba The special national relic in An Giang province by increasing the application of information technology. At the same time, it is necessary to advise the Provincial People's Committee to direct agencies, units, and localities in preparing a dossier to request UNESCO to recognize it as a World Cultural Heritage.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism shall contact relevant ministries and branches to urge the response to the provincial People's Committee's submission on the dossier for UNESCO's recognition as a World Cultural Heritage. Localities related to the Oc Eo - Ba The Special National Monument shall continue to invest in traffic infrastructure to facilitate tourism development.
